The short version

●Every product we sell carries a written limited warranty on the parts that matter most: the frame, the motor, the controller, the charger and the electronics. The battery is covered on its own, shorter terms.
●If something fails that we are responsible for, we fix it or replace it. You do not have to argue your case first.
●Consumable items — tyres, cushions, pads, cables, bulbs and fasteners — wear out through normal use and are not covered. We tell you which ones they are, and you can buy replacements from us.
●You do not need to register anything to be covered, and using a part or a repairer we did not supply does not void your coverage.
●Everything in this policy sits on top of your legal rights. It never takes them away.

1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to products you buy directly from us at amblebot.com, or from a reseller we have authorised in writing, for your own personal use.
Coverage under this written warranty is extended to the original purchaser named on the order. It does not automatically transfer if you later sell or give the product to someone else.
You do not need to sign up, register, activate or return anything to be covered. We may ask for proof of purchase if you make a claim, but a registration card is not, and never will be, a condition of coverage. If you cannot find your order number, contact us and we will help you find another way to show when you bought the product.
If you bought your product from a third party we have not authorised, this policy does not apply — but the seller may have its own obligations to you, and your statutory rights are unaffected. See section 10.

2. What is covered, and for how long
Coverage starts on the date of purchase shown on your order confirmation. Where you pre-order a product, it starts on the date we dispatch it from our warehouse.

Frame, motor, controller, joystick, charger and electronics: 24months

Battery: 12months

We warrant that these parts will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during normal use, as described in the user manual that comes with your product.
The battery is the one part where the passage of time changes things on its own. A gradual loss of capacity over months and charge cycles is how every rechargeable battery behaves — it is expected, not a defect, and it is not covered as a fault. What is covered is a battery that fails to hold charge because of how it was made. Section 8 sets out the difference.

3. What we will do when something goes wrong
Our first step is always to try to fix it without asking you to send anything back. Most issues are resolved this way.

Here is the order we work in:
1.We talk it through. Email or live chat, with photos or a short video of the problem.
2.We send a part, where that is the faster route. Many faults come down to a single component, and replacing it is quicker than a round trip.
3.We ask you to send the product, or the affected part, to our service centre so we can examine it. We will only ask for this when step 2 will not work.
4.We repair it or replace it, and return it to you.
If we replace a product or a part, the replacement becomes yours and the original becomes ours. The replacement does not have to be brand new, but it will work properly and do the same job as the original. Your original coverage period continues — it does not restart.
We decide which of repair or replacement is appropriate, based on what is practical for the fault. Where the law gives you a right to choose, that right applies.

4. What this policy does not cover
This policy covers faults in materials and workmanship. It does not cover:
●Damage from incorrect setup, misuse, or use that does not follow the user manual we supply;
●Damage from repair, alteration or dismantling done by someone we have not authorised;
●Damage actually caused by fitting a part that is not compatible with your product;
●Faults in a third-party product. This policy covers our products only;
●Damage from outside causes — extreme temperatures, water or moisture beyond what your product is rated for, power surges, or impact;
●Use with a charger other than the one supplied;
●Use beyond the maximum user weight or other limits stated in the user manual;
●Products whose serial number or identification label has been altered, removed or made unreadable;
●Items that wear out through normal use — tyres, seat cushions, brake pads, cables, bulbs, fasteners and similar. Section 2 lists these;
●Ordinary cosmetic wear — scratches, scuffs, fading and discolouration;
●The gradual loss of battery capacity that happens over time and over charge cycles;
●Problems that are not caused by a fault in materials or workmanship;
●Products with no valid proof of purchase;
●Products that are lost or stolen, or that we have already refunded or replaced in full;
●Products bought from a reseller we have not authorised in writing;
●Products we gave you free of charge, such as promotional items, unless we say otherwise in writing.
One thing worth being explicit about. Using a part, an accessory or a repair service that did not come from us does not, by itself, void this policy. We cannot and do not require you to use our parts or our service partners to keep your coverage. What is not covered is damage that a non-compatible part, or a repair done badly, actually causes.
We are also not responsible for personal items you send to us along with a product, or for those items while they are in transit.

5. Where service happens, and who pays for shipping
We handle warranty service in the United States. Send items to:
  US service centre address — to be confirmed.
Do not send anything to our registered office address. That office handles company administration only, cannot receive freight, and is not able to process or forward a return.
Please contact us before shipping anything. These are large, heavy items and the right method matters. We will tell you where to send it and the most economical way to get it there.
On cost:
●You arrange and pay for the outward shipment to the address we give you.
●If the fault is covered, we repair or replace the item and ship it back to you at our cost.
●If the fault is not covered, we will tell you what the work and the return shipping will cost, and get your agreement, before anything is done.

6. If your order arrives damaged or not working
Contact us as soon as you can after delivery, and within 30 calendar days, so we can assess a replacement or a refund. Please include your order number and photos or a short video.
Before you contact us, if the outer packaging is visibly damaged, note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt. That note is what makes a carrier claim possible, and it is the quickest route to sorting the problem out.
Once a returned item reaches us in its original condition — with all accessories, attachments and undamaged packaging — we aim to process an eligible replacement within 14 calendar days.
Returns and refunds are handled separately, under our Returns & Refunds Policy. This page deals with warranty coverage.

7. Replacement parts, and what is expected to wear
Some parts are meant to be replaced as they wear. Knowing this up front is more useful than discovering it later.

Wear items are not covered by this policy, but you can buy replacements from us, and we will tell you which ones are user-replaceable and which need a technician.
What matters more than any replacement interval is whether you can actually get the part. A part you can source is worth more than a longer promise on a part you cannot.

8. About the battery
Two things are true about every rechargeable battery, including ours.
Capacity declines gradually over its working life. That is normal behaviour, not a fault, and it is why capacity loss on its own is not covered.
Cold weather reduces available range. If you use the product outdoors in a cold season, expect less range then than in summer. The battery has not failed; it behaves differently in the cold.
A battery is covered if it fails to hold charge because of a fault in how it was made, within the coverage period in section 2.
To get the most out of it:
●Charge the battery before it is completely empty. Do not leave it fully discharged for long periods.
●For extended storage, keep it at roughly half charge in a cool, dry place, and charge it fully before you next use it.
●Use only the charger supplied with the product.
●Do not hose the product down or submerge it.

9. How to start a claim
Contact us by email
Email: support@amblebot.com

Have these ready, and the claim moves faster:
1.Proof of purchase — your order number if you bought from us.
2.The serial number of the product.
3.A description of the problem, with photos or a short video where the issue can be seen. Be specific: "the motor makes a grinding noise under load" is more useful than "it doesn't work right."
4.A note of anything you have already tried.
We aim to reply within 1 business day.

10. Your rights under the law
This written warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the limitation described below may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the exclusion or limitation described in section 11 may not apply to you.
We do not disclaim implied warranties, and nothing in this policy removes a right you cannot lawfully give up. Where the law that applies to you gives you a longer period of protection, or a stronger remedy, than this policy does, that law prevails.
We do not require you to use any informal dispute resolution procedure before you take any other step available to you. We may offer to discuss a problem informally, and you are free to accept or decline.

11. Limits of this policy
To the extent the law allows, this written warranty is the only warranty we give you for your product, and it replaces any other warranty, condition or remedy, whether spoken, written or implied.
Where the law allows us to limit how long an implied warranty lasts, that period is limited to the coverage period stated in section 2. Where the law allows us to limit the remedy available under an implied warranty, that remedy is limited to repairing or replacing the product or the affected part, at our option.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example, lost time, lost income, or the cost of hiring a substitute product while yours is being repaired. Nothing in this policy limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

12. Caring for your product
Looking after your product keeps it working as intended, and damage caused by neglect falls outside this policy (section 4).
●Charge and store the battery as described in section 8.
●Keep the frame clean and dry. Do not hose it down or submerge it.
●Check tyres, fasteners, cables and the braking system regularly, and have the product serviced at the intervals in the user manual.
●Stay within the maximum user weight stated in the user manual.
●Use the charger supplied with the product.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The version published here at the time of your purchase is the one that governs that purchase. If we make a material change, we will notify you as the law requires.
